Pre-OrderΜορμώ (Mormo) is not new to this game. All members used to play in the legendary Greek crust band Dyspnea from Tyrnavos and they still carry the flame of that scene where back in the day bands like them, Xamos, The Malloy's Kids, Legal Pain, Social Security and others made noise and disrupted the quite life of this small rural town of central Greece. "Δυστοπία" (Greek for Dystopia) is their second album. Τhey have started a unique take on crust that centers on a more dark, esoteric and elegant sound that has transcended the constant d-beat pounding, fast paces and seer aggression of the genre with longer song structures, slower tempos, more complex songwriting and lots of atmosphere while still winking at the sound and aesthetics of beloved crust bands of the past. It’s like combining “Darker Days Ahead” by Tragedy with “Crack the Skye” by Mastodon, some black metal influences, krautrock rhythmic segments and lots of pagan myths of Thessaly. Μορμώ (Mormo) is doing to crust, is what Joy Division did to punk. -

Stress returns 11 years after the reissue of “The Sound of Insecurity” with their new E.P. “Think Before It’s Too Late” on 10″ vinyl. All songs come from Stress’s 80s recordings, for a tribute to the meeting of punk with Ska and Dub Reggae sounds, which flirts with the spirit of the 80s. A re-recording of three tracks on a 10″ vinyl edition. A3 is a cover of “Too much pressure” by Selecter, with a free translation of the lyrics by Panagiotis Skordas. -

The COLD I trip started 10 years ago. At 2019 their drummer Christos left the band for personal reasons and he was replaced by Vaggelis. The current line up is Fotis (vocals), Aggelos (guitar), Dimitris (bass) and Vaggelis (drums). With the new line up at 2021, the band stormed the studio to record their third full length (Μέρες Νεκρές) which continues the quest at their beloved post punk/cold wave genres. “Μέρες Νεκρές” pressed at 287 copies. -

It has been heavily inspired by the late Iain M. Banks’ concept of Sublimation, as explored in the master’s final sci-fi novel, “The Hydrogen Sonata”. It is Dephosphorus’ 4th full-length album and it presents a few notable differences compared to the rest of their discography, which are up to the audience to find out. Last but not least, the record’s atmosphere has taken visual shape thanks to Viral Graphics. Pressed on 180g vinyl, contain a 4 pg. 12" inlay, A2 Poster, Sticker & Download Card. -
Furthermore, and as a separate release, the band’s foreboding 1989 “Deny Your Destiny” demo and 1990 “Necrorgasm” EP have been compiled on a single LP to document the band’s early trajectory, which eventually led to the release of “Demise.” These two prior recordings include germinal versions of several songs from the first full-length, along with others such as “Necrorgasm,” “Mass Impalement,” and “Death Courier,” which were not included on “Demise.” This “EP and Demo” LP also includes four live tracks taken from the 1990 Molon Lave Festival and a 1991 gig at the Villa Amalias Squat in Athens. This unearthing and reanimation of Death Courier’s earliest scourging imprints erases a longstanding void in the availability of the most essential recordings from one of the most important pillars in the Greek black/death metal canon. -
