ANGRY GOD is the first new material of the M-town Rebels since 2016 and the band’s first full-length in well over a decade! To say this release is very much anticipated is therefore an understatement. Luckily BACKFIRE! lives up to the expectations and releases it’s strongest, most explosive record to date! Never before the Gods of European hardcore delivered an album on which they sounded so old school and typically BACKFIRE! on one hand, but as refreshing and renewing as they do on the other hand. Going strong for nearly 3 decades already, but the band still manages to reinvent itself on ANGRY GOD and does so with anger and style! The band has announced this album will be their testimony and final release ever. ANGRY GOD is their most darkest and personal album to date and the crown on their 30 year carreer span. The album was realized with the help of some old friends and partners in crime. Former drummer and now producer Igor is responsible for the album’s massive and heavy production. Oeds (The Devil’s Blood, Molassess) co-wrote the magnificent instrumental title-track. And Merijn (Sparrow Falls, The Young Ones) and Erick (Live By The Sword, Strongarm And The Bullies) perform guest vocals on respectively “Empty Shell” and “Black Hole”. -

Rock for Light is the second full-length album by Bad Brains, released in 1983. It was produced by Ric Ocasek of The Cars.
We’re proud to present the original mix of the album, for the first time in decades, as the band originally intended. Most fans will be more familiar with the 1991 reissue, which was remixed by Ocasek and bass player Darryl Jenifer. In addition to new mixes, that version used an altered track order. This reissue marks the fourth release in the remaster campaign, re-launching the Bad Brains Records label imprint. In coordination with the band, Org Music has overseen the restoration and remastering of the iconic Bad Brains’ recordings. The audio was mastered by Dave Gardner at Infrasonic Mastering and pressed at Furnace Record Pressing. -

It was produced by the band and Andy Faulkner, and was released on Metal Blade Records in 2002. Honour – Valour – Pride is the only full length Bolt Thrower album not featuring Karl Willetts. -
Mercenary is the sixth album by the British death metal band Bolt Thrower. It was recorded at Chapel Studios, Lincoln, England, December 1997 to January 1998. The album was produced by Bolt Thrower and Ewan Davis. It was released on Metal Blade Records in 1998. The cover painting is titled "Contact – Wait Out", which is also the first track on the next album, "Honour – Valour – Pride". "Powder Burns" is a continuation of the song "Embers" from The IVth Crusade, and leads into "The Killchain" on Those Once Loyal. -

The fact that they were unusually blessed with a steady lineup throughout much of their career no doubt contributed to this stability, and though they were rarely bestowed wild praise for their efforts, with most of their competitors or contemporaries either adopting other styles or long retired, Bolt Thrower has gradually established itself as one of the best death metal bands ever to emerge from England. Those Once Loyal is the eighth and final album by the British death metal band Bolt Thrower. It was released in 2005. With Bolt Thrower deciding against releasing a follow-up to Those Once Loyal, it was Bolt Thrower’s final studio album before breaking up a year after drummer Martin Kearns’ death in September 2015. Like all of Bolt Thrower’s albums, Those Once Loyal deals with war, specifically World War I. The cover shows a World War 1 QF 18 pounder field gun and its crew in action and is based on an original WW1 photograph.The picture is also found on the back side of the Guards Memorial in St James’s Park in London.- Gatefold, including a poster

Hope Against Hope is the first new Catharsis record in twenty-four years, but it picks up right where they left off with their distinctive brand of heavy, dissonant, ambitious, and politically charged hardcore punk.Desperate times call for desperate measures. Taking up arms against a wave of authoritarianism and despair, North Carolina’s premier hardcore band, Catharsis, has recorded a new full-length album, “Hope Against Hope.”
This record picks up where their last material left off, continuing to push the envelope for what hardcore can do. Catharsis don’t retread the ground they broke on their previous albums, but press forward into ever more abrasive and dynamic territory. Politically, they remain uncompromisingly radical in their lives as well as lyrics. This is not a band that has slowed down, toned down, or mellowed out. Sticking to their roots in the do-it-yourself underground, they are releasing the album through CrimethInc. in the United States, Refuse in Europe, and No Gods No Masters in South America. The band recorded the drums with Benny Grotto at Mad Oak Studios and tracked the rest themselves. For the backing vocals, Catharsis tapped the vocalists of some of their favorite hardcore bands: Poland’s Next Victim, Brazil’s Point of No Return, and North Carolina’s own Scarecrow and Vittna. Mixed by Kurt Ballou at God City Studio and mastered by Scott Crouse, “Hope Against Hope” is as explosive as our times. Twenty-four years have passed since Catharsis released their last record, the split LP featuring “Arsonist’s Prayer,” though they did complete another song from that session for their discography in 2012. But they have been playing regularly together since 2013, adding Jimmy Chang (of Undying and Sect), who left the band in 1995, to the lineup that recorded the “Passion” LP. It was high time to record another album, making the most of material that has come together across two decades. In fact, Catharsis has never sounded better. “Hope Against Hope” is an assault on a self-destructing society and a beacon of inspiration for all who are determined to survive.
