Finland’s D-beat Hardcore Punk band Kürøishi is finally dropping their monster second LP “Sound The Alarm”. While the sold-out first LP “Poverty. Ignorance. Greed. Slavery” stemmed from a traditional Scandinavian style of “Tragedy via Wolfbrigade”, “Sound the Alarm” LP leans a lot more on a tasteful Japanese hardcore influence. The Tragedy heaviness and bleak atmosphere is still prevalent, with crushing dirges and desperate melodic riffing, but here the songs are more guitar-focused, with blazing guitar leads and huge epic guitar solos pumping adrenaline to the extreme. Set that to high-charge tempos and throw in some big gang choruses with guest appearances from bands like Think Again/ Systematic Death, NoLA, No Excuse, Vivisektio and Rotten Sound, and you’ve got your winter soundtrack all sorted out. For those who are unfamiliar with Disfear, it is basically a mix of a lot of hardcore punk with a lot of metal to create a product that is simply loud, in your face and unrelenting. Disfear fit that description perfectly. "Live The Storm" is a 35 minute assault of heavy power chords, pounding drums and bass, layered with southern sounding leads and throat wrenching yells. Disfear deliver one hell of an intense ride. "Live The Storm" doesn’t let up from the start of the southern tinged "Get It Off" until the end of the 7 minute explosion that is "Phantom". The band leaves no cracks in their wall of sound and come out sounding powerful and extremely energizing. This is a must for anyone who loves intense and unrelenting music. -

Necrot is a three-piece Death Metal band based in Oakland, California. They play a unique style of old-school death metal with a crust punk edge, employing unexpected time changes and an interesting variety of rhythms. While most "new-old-school" death metal bands don't deviate much from the blueprint laid out by the genres pioneers, namely Autopsy, Death, Entombed, Morbid Angel and Bolt Thrower, Necrot manage to stand out from the rest of the pack and prove that there is still room for innovation in this kind of music. This of course doesn't mean you won't hear the influence of bands like Sepultura, Grave, Dismember and maybe a bit of Utopia Banished-era Napalm Death in their music, but once your ears are assaulted by their exceptionally grisly and agonized growls as well as their very distinct guitar tone (which sounds like a vacuum sucking up gravel, or a power-saw grinding through bone, or maybe an avocado pit getting stuck in the garbage disposal) you'll be too dumbfounded by Necrot's sheer brutality to care about their influences. If this sounds like your cup of tea, check out The Labyrinth. These Oakland death metal locals (ex Acephalix) are quickly gaining speed, and popularity across the world. Furthermore, and as a separate release, the band’s foreboding 1989 “Deny Your Destiny” demo and 1990 “Necrorgasm” EP have been compiled on a single LP to document the band’s early trajectory, which eventually led to the release of “Demise.” These two prior recordings include germinal versions of several songs from the first full-length, along with others such as “Necrorgasm,” “Mass Impalement,” and “Death Courier,” which were not included on “Demise.” This “EP and Demo” LP also includes four live tracks taken from the 1990 Molon Lave Festival and a 1991 gig at the Villa Amalias Squat in Athens. This unearthing and reanimation of Death Courier’s earliest scourging imprints erases a longstanding void in the availability of the most essential recordings from one of the most important pillars in the Greek black/death metal canon. -

This was release in 2001 but repress again in 2013. DOOM was a band which were pivotal in the rise of crust punk and originated from Birmingham. Doom continued with different guitarist, most notably with Dave Talbot who co-founded UK doom metal band SOLSTICE with SORE THROAT’s vocalist Rich Walker, but did not settle with four members for long playing numerous gigs as a three piece, as Pickering turned to vocal and guitar duties. This line up continued until a final split in August 1990. Following the group’s demise Pickering formed Police Bastard, whilst drummer Stick joined ENT then DIRT. This records still sound heavy, fuzzy, dirty and mean as hell!!! -

We were very honored to be able to release the European version of this record in 2003 and the enthusiasm is still real to be able to offer you this reissue 20 years later. The disillusioned rage and urgency of this album remain intact after two decades. This reissue has been carefully prepared coincidentally with the band and packed in a gatefold cover with an impressive artwork by Wolfbrigade's very own bass player Johan Erkenvåg. It comes in a gatefold sleeve and there are clear & black marble and purple & black marble colored vinyl versions available for mailorder. -

Never before the Gods of European hardcore delivered an album on which they sounded so old school and typically BACKFIRE! on one hand, but as refreshing and renewing as they do on the other hand. Going strong for nearly 3 decades already, but the band still manages to reinvent itself on ANGRY GOD and does so with anger and style! The band has announced this album will be their testimony and final release ever. ANGRY GOD is their most darkest and personal album to date and the crown on their 30 year carreer span. The album was realized with the help of some old friends and partners in crime. Former drummer and now producer Igor is responsible for the album’s massive and heavy production. Oeds (The Devil’s Blood, Molassess) co-wrote the magnificent instrumental title-track. And Merijn (Sparrow Falls, The Young Ones) and Erick (Live By The Sword, Strongarm And The Bullies) perform guest vocals on respectively “Empty Shell” and “Black Hole”. -

The COLD I trip started 10 years ago. At 2019 their drummer Christos left the band for personal reasons and he was replaced by Vaggelis. The current line up is Fotis (vocals), Aggelos (guitar), Dimitris (bass) and Vaggelis (drums). With the new line up at 2021, the band stormed the studio to record their third full length (Μέρες Νεκρές) which continues the quest at their beloved post punk/cold wave genres. “Μέρες Νεκρές” pressed at 287 copies. -
